The Dandyhats: Therdrem Richpiece

Therdrem discovered the raw power of gun powder when he was just a kid. And the truth is it was always a constant in his life: from an early age, he saw his father blowing up holes in the family mines with it; then, he always admired the skill of the Thunderers at the practice range of the keep;  until finally he ended up spending a great deal of his dad's money to purchase a harquebus.

Therdrem's father was furious. Very embarrassed, he had to return the gun and then he cut Therdrem's access to the family money, granting him nothing more than a really tight allowance from that moment on.

On a display of will, Therdrem managed to save enough money to purchase his own harquebus, albeit one rather more humble than the one he wanted. He practiced day and night to try and join the ranks of the Thunderers, but... Well, quoting the Thunderers' sergeant, he "couldn't shoot a giant squig if it flew straight into the barrel of his gun".

Now he is spending every single gold piece of his limited allowance to tune up his weapon, since he's convinced that, the cooler the weapon, the better he will shoot.

He joined the entourage of Archibrum with no hesitation, as he sees this expedition as the perfect opportunity to prove his worth and make that Thunderer sergeant eat his words.
